Every week we provide food to more than 27,000 people who might otherwise go without a meal.
Behind this number are the stories of people whose lives have been changed, all starting with a meal made with food saved from surplus produce and foods.
Throughout the East Midlands, we work with hundreds of frontline charities and community groups to make this happen.
These wonderful organisations – including many charities, community groups, schools, domestic abuse centres, foodbanks and hostels – take the food we save from waste and transform it into meals for vulnerable people.
It’s about more than just meals though. These organisations serve up specialist support – as well as lunch and dinner – meaning that one meal can be the start of a life-changing journey.
